  • 2 packs Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls (5 count each)
  • 4 large apples (2 Honeycrisp and 2 Granny Smith)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 5 tbsp butter (for streusel topping)
  • Powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and grease a muffin tin with softened butter.
  2. Press cinnamon rolls into each muffin cup and expand up the sides.
  3. Prepare the apple filling by mixing diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter, and cornstarch mixture; heat until thickened.
  4. Fill each roll with the apple mixture using a slotted spoon.
  5. Combine streusel ingredients until crumbly; mound over filled rolls.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes, loosely covering with foil for the first five minutes.
  7. While baking, whisk together icing ingredients until smooth.
  8. Cool rolls slightly before drizzling icing on top.
