Air Fryer Honey Glazed Steak Strips are a delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors that are perfect for any occasion, be it a busy weeknight dinner or an impressive appetizer for gatherings. With a quick preparation time and easy cooking process, these steak strips are not only tasty but also healthier thanks to the air fryer method, which reduces oil while maintaining juiciness and tenderness. The combination of honey, soy sauce, and garlic creates a caramelized glaze that elevates the dish, making it a crowd-pleaser. Enjoy them in tacos, on salads, or as bite-sized appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank), sliced into thin strips
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400F (200C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated steak strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Check doneness with a meat thermometer; aim for an internal temperature of around 135F (57C) for medium-rare.
  6. Allow the steak strips to rest for a few minutes before serving.
