  • 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups Oreo cookie chunks
  • 3/4 cup red, white, & blue M&Ms (divided)
  • 1/2 cup red, white, & blue sprinkles (divided)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla until a soft dough forms.
  2. Stir in the Oreo chunks along with half of the M&Ms and sprinkles.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill the dough for one hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to form balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Press remaining M&Ms into the tops.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
