- 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups Oreo cookie chunks
- 3/4 cup red, white, & blue M&Ms (divided)
- 1/2 cup red, white, & blue sprinkles (divided)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla until a soft dough forms.
- Stir in the Oreo chunks along with half of the M&Ms and sprinkles.
- Cover the bowl and chill the dough for one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Use a cookie scoop to form balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Press remaining M&Ms into the tops.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
