  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans until well-coated.
  4. Unroll crescent dough into triangles on the baking sheet. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of pecan filling onto each triangle's wide end and roll up towards the narrow tip.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then brush with reserved mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
