- 2 cans refried beans (15-ounce each)
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 brick cream cheese (softened)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (1 ounce)
- 2 cups Mexican blend cheese
- 1 ½ cups salsa
- 1/4 cup green onions (sliced)
- 6–8 Roma tomatoes (diced)
- 1 deli slice Monterey Jack (or mozzarella cheese)
- 1 ½ cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup blue tortilla chips (crushed)
- Spread refried beans evenly in a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, mix sour cream, softened cream cheese, and taco seasoning until smooth. Layer it over the beans.
- Pour salsa over the creamy layer.
- Sprinkle shredded Mexican blend cheese and sliced green onions on top.
- Optionally cut stars from Monterey Jack cheese using a cookie cutter and arrange them with crushed blue tortilla chips to create a flag design.
