  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of your choice
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add the steak, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned (about 3 minutes on each side). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tbsp of butter if needed. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the steak to the skillet along with the drained noodles. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing everything until well combined and heated through.
  5. Stir in any remaining butter for added richness before serving warm.
