  • 1/4 cup plain flour (40g)
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock (120ml)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (90g), divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Butterfly the chicken breasts into even pieces and coat them in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown (3-5 minutes per side). Remove from pan.
  4. Lower heat to medium, add minced garlic to the same pan, cooking until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  5. Pour in chicken stock and gradually whisk in remaining butter until combined into a slightly cloudy sauce.
  6. Add cooked chicken back into the pan, spooning sauce over it before serving with lemon wedges.
