- 8 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1 cup ripe cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes and torn basil leaves.
- Add cooled pasta to the bowl and gently toss to mix.
