  • 34 cups Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the bottoms of the Brussels sprouts, wash them under cold water, and steam until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and cool slightly.
  3. Toss the sprouts in a mixing bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Place the sprouts on the prepared baking sheet and smash each one down using the bottom of a cup to create flat patties.
  5. Sprinkle grated parmesan over the tops of the smashed sprouts.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
