  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 10 whole cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce (can sub Worcestershire sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté whole garlic cloves until fragrant and golden.
  3. Stir in flour to create a roux; gradually add chicken broth while whisking until smooth. Incorporate bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, mustard powder; let simmer.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and mix well before serving.
