  • 12 medium button or cremini mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (fresh or panko)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat (finely chopped)
  • Olive oil spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and lightly spray them with olive oil. Place cap side down on a baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, bread crumbs, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and crab meat. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Generously fill each mushroom cap with about 1½ tablespoons of the mixture.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until heated through; broil for the last minute for a golden top.
