  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. In one dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another dish, drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from air fryer, spoon marinara sauce over each piece, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Allow to rest before serving.
